Entrepreneur’s Teri Evans highlights, via reimagined photos, Tony Hsieh’s (Zappos) vision for his $350 million Downtown Project that will transform the downtown area of Las Vegas. “Entrepreneurs are the lynchpin of the five-year plan, which began in 2011 and includes an emphasis on the arts, education and urban development.” Pictures include:

  • Shipping Container Park (businesses of 25-30 entrepreneurs working in converted shipping containers)
  • “usr/lib” Work Lounge – (a “tech library – co-working lite – meetup venue” space)
  • Las Vegas Arts District (features the popular arts/music festival, First Friday)
  • Wall of Business Ideas – in Tony Hsieh’s apartment, one of the stops on the Downtown Project tour
