Sean Gallagher (Ars Technica) reports on Zookal, an Australian startup that sells and rents textbooks to university students, and its new pilot program. The program, which shaves costs and provides quick service, delivers textbooks by “autonomous hexacopter.” The drone is provided by startup Flirtey, which is supported by the University of Sydney. It flies “to a customer at a designated GPS location based on data sent from an app on the customer’s cell phone.”
